  • myIslandHealth offers Island Health and IH clinic patients free secure online access to their personal health information and portions of their medical record from anywhere with an Internet connection (computer, tablet or smartphone). It enables patients to be actively involved in their healthcare anytime that is convenient for them, day or night. With myIslandHealth, patients will be able to:

    • View portions of their health record (recent visits, medications, allergies, conditions, immunizations and more)
    • View test results and diagnostic reports
    • View billing activity
    • Update personal profile information

    In addition, Island Primary Care, M Ave. (formerly AFM) and Island Primary Care, 24th St. (formerly FMA) patients will be able to:

    • View and request appointments
    • Communicate securely with their healthcare team
  • Signing up for myIslandHealth is easy! There are two convenient options for creating a myIslandHealth account. A valid email address must be on file with Island Health before someone can sign up.

    Option 1: Patients can create their own myIslandHealth account from any device (computer, tablet or smartphone) by visiting the Island Health website at www.islandhealth.org and clicking on the myIslandHealth link and going to ‘Create a myIslandHealth Account’.

    Option 2: Patients can request access to myIslandHealth at their next hospital or clinic visit.

  • No, myIslandHealth is a free resource for all Island Health and Island Health Clinic patients!

  • You may email us at portalsupport@islandhospital.org or call Island Health at (360) 299-1385. Our staff is here to help, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    For technical (non-medical) questions, patients can also click on the ‘Contact Us’ link in the portal and message a support person.

  • Your lab results will be available after your provider has reviewed them, which is generally within 2 – 4 days.

  • Your reports are released to the portal after they have been signed, which is generally within 7-10 days (some reports may take longer). Reports viewable on the portal are: CT, echocardiography, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, radiology and ultrasound.

  • Contact your primary care provider directly if any information on myIslandHealth is incorrect. They will ensure that your medical record is accurate.

  • Questions regarding your health information should be directed to your provider.

  • Yes, this is called proxy access and allows a parent, spouse, family member or friend to log into the patient’s personal myIslandHealth account and view their information. Once proxy access has been granted, you can select the “Change Person” button from the top right corner of myIslandHealth’s homepage to be able to choose among the patients that you have access to.

  • Per State and Federal guidelines, once your child turns 13, your access to their myIslandHealth account is deactivated. Your child can now sign up for his/her own account and complete the necessary form to grant you proxy access.

  • No, each adult must have their own myIslandHealth account. However, your spouse may grant you proxy access to their myIslandHealth.

  • If you have refills of your prescription available, please contact your pharmacy.

    If your prescription is out of refills please request a refill on myIslandHealth.

  • If your labs or diagnostic imaging was performed outside of Island Health, they will not show in myIslandHealth portal unless you provide a copy to your provider to be scanned in. If they are scanned into your chart they are viewable on the portal under Health Record> Documents> Results. Immunizations performed outside of Island Health are the same, they will show under Health Record> Documents> Medical Profile, if a copy was provided to your provider.

  • DEXA reports are scanned to your patient record and can be found under Health Record> Documents> Results.

  • Click on the “Forgot Password?” link on the login screen to reset your password. You will be prompted to enter your logon ID and email address. An email will be generated with further instructions.

  • Click on the “Forgot Logon ID?” link on the login screen. You will be prompted to enter your email address. An email will be generated with further instructions.

  • Click on “Preferences” at the bottom of the myIslandHealth homepage screen to change your password.

  • Yes! We have taken great care to ensure your health information is protected. Access to your myIslandHealth information is controlled by your personal logon ID and password. Unlike conventional email, communication via myIslandHealth is a secure way to message your provider.

  • To protect your privacy and the security of your health information, you will automatically be logged out of myIslandHealth if there is no activity for 30 minutes or more.

  • This is for your security. When logged in to myIslandHealth, use the portal’s own navigation buttons (i.e. Home). Using your browser back or forward buttons will cause you to be logged out of the portal.
