I cant vouch for this place in terms of how the auction process goes, but in terms of their operations with insurance companies and taking cars away, the business they are running here is a true nightmare on earth. My old car was declared a total loss. Insurance told me that Copart would be taking my car in exchange for a settlement. Thats fine. However, my license plates were still on the old car. All I asked of these walnuts was for them to please tell me in advance before they take my car so that I can take the plates off, because if I took them off a significant amount of time before they came for my car, the city would have towed me due to strict on-street parking rules where I live. I confirmed this with them FOUR times, and they told me that I would be called an hour before my car was taken. So, in the meanwhile I get myself a new car and am planning to do a license plate transfer. The thing with doing that, though, is you need the old plates. So Im sitting at the dealership waiting for a phone call. At the end of the day, Coparts office closes so I have no way of reaching them, and I am then informed by the insurance company that my car was taken away. No phone call, no notice. What a wonderful situation then, to have my new car sitting at a dealership with NO license plates on it, and to have my old license plates still attached to my old car in an auction yard about 60 miles north of where my replacement car is sitting. AWESOME.I borrow my dads car since I have zero vehicles to my name and drive to Copart first thing in the morning (and if any worker is reading this you probably remember me as the crazy "Chevy Cobalt girl"). Copart sometimes sends license plates back to the insurance company, so I really had no way of knowing if the plates were still physically at this location. Fortunately, they were inside my old car, and I got them back.I told the dude at the front desk that NOBODY warned me before picking my car up, and that I called to confirm this four times. He just says, "huh... we must not have put that in our notes." ........... REALLY???? YA THINK?????And, just an extra nugget: A few days after this fiasco I get a phone call from the insurance company telling me, "Copart never got the keys to your car. They need you to send them." LOL HILARIOUS even though I already sent Copart the keys in the mail a week prior and they confirmed that they received them, and when I physically WENT to Copart, my car was unlocked. And guess what? When it was taken away, it was locked. Wow. Magic.GOOD JOB, EVERYONE.Love,A bitter (new) car owner.

They are terrible. I was in an accident my car was sent there when I went to retrieve my personal belongings, my car was empty. I was missing a handicapped plaque. I was told my items along with license plates had been mailed to me. Three weeks later nothing. I called for tracking # and was told items where there. Once again I returned to Copart I received cds and license plates nothing else. There was a work order wrapped around the plates with an elastic. At home while unwrapping the plates I saw that they had given me the wrong plates. Again I call and was told sorry we acted up at your expense. Still no plates and no way to find them. WTF

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! THEY SOLD A CAR WITH CLEAN TITLE AND IT WAS SUPOSSED TO BE AVAILIBLE WHEN CAR WAS PICKED UP. I WON AND PAID FOR THE CAR IN THE SAME DAY AND HAD THE TRANSPORTER PICK IT UP THE NEXT DAY, LETS JUST SAY OVER 5 WEEKS AND I AM STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND OVER TITLE. I WAS TOLD 3 WEEKS CALLED THEM 4TH WEEK, I DIDNT WANNA CALL SOONER BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO BE A BOTHER THEM, AND OF COUSE TITLE WAS NEVER LOOKED AFTER, SO BRIAN FROM THE THERE OFFICE TOLD ME HE WILL HANDLE THIS RIGHT AWAY AND HE SHOULD HAVE THE TITLE WITH IN 3-4 BUSINESS HERE IS A WEEK LATER (5 BUSINESS DAYS) AND STILL DOESNT HAVE TITLE. VERY DISAPPOINTING

This place sucks. They took my plate holder off of my car, it was towed there after my accident. They claim that they dont know what happened to it. It must have magically unscrewed and came off?? It was there when the car was towed on a flat bed truck. Pretty sad that they have to steal things from other people. Maybe if they paid their employees better they wouldnt need to steal. Never go here. I am telling everyone. It was not expensive, thats not the point. It was mine and meant something to me. Thanks loser, who ever you are.

Couldnt be happier with this Auction... a great place for purchasing used cars and unbeatable prices. There are hundreds of cars; you wont walk away without one. Arrive about an hour early, so that you can take a look at the cars before the auction begins. I admire also Repokar car auction because it has also a huge variety of makes and models... After making one payment, you drive away with a car thats yours! Seems as if its too good to be true: Ive been to this Auction twice, and will continue to return in the future.

They came and picked up my old car that I was having trouble selling online. The tow truck driver came and picked up my Honda promptly. It was a very quick transaction and I was handed a check on the spot.
