Offered from an estate collection is this extremely rare 1935 Volume 1, Number 1 edition of The Alaska Sportsman magazine in very good pre-owned condition. Finding this edition in any condition is nearly impossible, and this No. 1 edition is very good, with some rust at staples, some mild corner/edge wear, and what looks like some light soiling at the "small A" in the title on front. Inside pages are clean and crisp, with mild bottom corner bend and rust around staples as mentioned. Please see photos! I was able to purchase an extensive collection of The Alaska Sportsman at the estate, including the next three rare 1935 month editions -- February, March, April -- which I am also listing as a separate lot. I also have the complete 1936 year, which I will list in the coming days, and a number of other complete years. This is the "Holy Grail" for serious collectors of The Alaska Sportsman and a fantastic find for vintage hunting, fishing, outdoors, and Alaska enthusiasts.
